Compare two quotations with your own amounts
Use this worksheet after the technical scopes have been made comparable. A lower subtotal is not evidence that the machine can do the job. Values are intentionally blank; no supplier prices are supplied by this tool.
How to read the result
For each offer, the tool adds eight non-overlapping rows. A blank row remains unknown and prevents a complete total or price-difference comparison. Zero is a deliberate confirmation, not the default. If freight, installation or spares are already included in the equipment quote, enter zero in the corresponding extra row and keep that inclusion in your written scope.
The result is a listed initial budget, not a binding quotation or total cost of ownership. It does not test machine capability, predict operating cost, apply exchange rates, calculate tax rates or value financing. Resolve exclusions with the supplier before treating two totals as comparable.

A comparable quote needs a dated technical attachment
- An itemized equipment boundary and a list of retained or buyer-supplied items.
- Product, package, fill range and accepted-output assumptions.
- Currency, validity period, delivery basis and separate optional items.
- A format-parts list and the cost of the required additional formats.
- Utility requirements, layout and site work allocated to each party.
- Trial, acceptance, documentation and after-delivery support scope.

Why is there no generic starting price on this page?
No verified, current public offer has been supplied for a fixed configuration. The page therefore explains the cost boundary and lets you compare actual amounts without presenting an unsupported price.
Can a missing amount be entered as zero?
Only if the item is confirmed included elsewhere or not needed. Otherwise leave it blank; the calculator identifies the incomplete offer.
Does the lower complete total identify the better machine?
No. It only compares the entered cost rows. Product fit, acceptance evidence, operating requirements and the agreed support scope must also be evaluated.
